My best experience with Melaleuca products was when my two littlest boys decided to draw with Dry-Erase markers on the unfinished wood picnic table that my dad made us. Black and purple markers – all over the entire table!
I honestly didn’t think anything would get it out, and had resigned myself to the fact that we would have to paint the table instead of stain it.
In trying to find something to use to attempt to remove the marker from the wood, I remembered my friend who got me started with Melaleuca had told me that she knew someone who used Sol-U-Mel to remove Sharpie marker. So, I figured it was worth a try. It couldn’t really get any worse!
After a few hours of work (it was ALL OVER the table!)…..the marks were 95% removed! There was only a very faint image remaining where the darkest parts of the black marker had been.
This happened a few years ago, and I continue to share this story (and some Sol-U-Mel) with friends who have similar incidents happen in their homes!
