Once a year, all of the Melaleuca family comes together in one place for three incredible days of Convention. It’s a chance to get an up close and personal look at how Melaleuca is changing lives around the world.
Convention 2015 took place earlier this month in Salt Lake City, and the event was filled with incredible moments. Thousands of like-minded people got to connect with one another, exciting new Melaleuca products were unveiled, leaders offered valuable training and businesses were celebrated for achieving their goals.
One of the things that made this year’s Convention extra special is that these amazing moments were featured in a live blog on MelaleucaJournal.com. As the weekend unfolded, Melaleuca captured it online in real time.
The live blog was part of a larger effort to help people get the most out of Convention 2015 by connecting with Melaleuca on social media. Exciting photos, memorable quotes and other highlights were all posted across Melaleuca’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
On Day 1, the live blog featured inspiring messages from Melaleuca’s leaders. It included the announcement of the all-new business-building tool, Melaleuca: An Overview as well as the much-anticipated unveiling of new products like the Peak Performance Metabolic Health Pack, Sugar-free FiberWise®, Natural Insect Repellant, PURE™ Essential Oils and more. The Marketing Executives of the Year and Team of the Year awards highlighted the celebration, and there was even a teaser for a Melaleuca cruise.
On Day 2, the blog covered the exciting announcement of the Peak Performers Cruise: A Melaleuca-only, five-night trip to the Western Caribbean in February 2016 aboard the ms Brilliance of the Seas! There were more inspiring quotes from exceptional leaders and a lot more moments of celebration.
Day 3’s coverage included Melaleuca Athlete Bernard Lagat’s appearance on the main stage as well as 18 Melaleuca businesses who burned their mortgage papers in celebration of Total Financial Freedom—always a crowd favorite. The live blog wrapped up fittingly with final thoughts from Melaleuca CEO Frank VanderSloot, who told the crowd, “Get out there and have a great life!”
