Recently, I was boiling 1/2 of a turkey in a large stock pot. I was straining the stock to get the carcass out after it had boiled for two hours. My dog, Jasper, decided he wanted to see what I was doing and bumped me. I lost grip of the handle and the hot stock was pored all over my dominant hand. Immediately, it started to blister.
